I LOVE the idea of randomly introducing “date challenges”. The date challenge for this month: leave technology out of it! There is nothing less romantic than a Words with Friends game or a Twitter update while you’re wining and dining with your loved one.

I challenge you to put your phone on silent, leave it in your purse or pocket and concentrate on conversation with your significant other. See how you and your significant other do while on the date, be each other’s accountability. After the date, evaluate how it went. Did you learn something new about your partner? Was conversation more intentional?
