Do you remember the last time you had a slip of the tongue or fell in front of a group of folks? It probably wasn’t the most pleasant experience of your life. So how did you handle it? Did you laugh about it or maybe make a joke about how clumsy you are?
Everyone at some time in their life will have some type of silly or unexpected minor misadventure. What we do with it shows our strength in character and self-image. So be fair to yourself and allow life’s unexpected moments to come but without creating a sense of inadequacy. There will always be cracks in the sidewalk or something to bump into whether we want them or not.
