Bell

Alexander Graham Bell, that is. Remember him? He was the one who thought it a great idea that people should communicate with one another by long distance. Do you think he ever thought about how the phone is used today? Now we are able to dialogue around the world with the same concept that he created so long ago. Well, how’s that ability working for you? Do you find yourself communicating on a consistent basis with those who matter to you? We so often put off calling a loved one or friend because “we’re just too busy.” Life does get busy and anxiety causes some to even be busier than they should.

Life not only gets busy, it also gets going by us way too quickly at times. The call we planned on making gets put to the bottom of the list, then never gets made. Time passes and guilt can keep one, even more so, from making that call. The old motto “why put off until tomorrow what you can do today” should resound within our inner ear and remind us to call that someone whom we care about or cherish. There have been many who wish, a little too late, that they had made that call. Make that call now…
